Antonio Macias is a seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience in the creation of digital products for industries such as: High-Tech, Financial, Hospitality, Retail, Healthcare, Government and R&D. He has led projects for top companies like Microsoft Research, Electronic Arts, BARCO, Coinstar, World Remit, Brinker International and Cinepolis. He has a strong background in Product Development and Agile Methodologies. He currently leads Softtek’s Global Center of Excellence in Digital Customer Experience and is responsible for the design and execution of omnichannel solutions that create memorable experiences and increase the engagement of the consumers in the US and Latam Market.
In the past, he combined his career with the academic world and wrote down papers for specialized magazines like Springer Verlag, was a speaker at Innovative Internet Computing Systems, Open Repositories, Software Guru Conference and was a lecturer for the University of Baja California in Mexico.
Antonio is certified as UX professional by Norman Nielsen Group, holds a master’s degree in Software Engineering and bachelor’s degree in Networking and Telecommunications by the University of Colima in Mexico. He also carried out postgraduate studies at the Technical University of Deggendorf in Germany where he was involved in the development of next generation mobile platforms.
Antonio has a beautiful wife and two lovely children with whom he enjoys the adventure of life.
